Its the start of a new semester, and hopefully they last, this also means a set of new graphic design projects all having to deal with renewable energy. The first project is a combination of two items a content map and a poster. This is my version of a content map on renewable energy. Its still a rough so don’t judge. There are so many different content maps out there and mine are not anything like them.

I was planing on redoing it after seeing everyone’s version and how they are graph like and organized different, but it ended up the teach liked it! Yay! Still a lot of work to go and 3 poster roughs due Tuesday.

Which side is clean?

When Tim and I moved into this studio not much was clean except the carpet because that was actually new. One the things that was not cleaned was the blinds, and the deal was that we didn’t have to clean them when we moved out. But as you can tell they got really really dirty, especially in the kitchen. I have never had to clean blinds before and I never realized how much of a pain they are to do! I figure it would be better to do it while there are dirty dishes in the sink rather than getting dust and dirt all over clean dishes.

I had to get the step stool and I got up on the short counter to clean with Clorox wipes. I must have used 20 of those damn things. My back will be in pain and my hands will be broken out with eczema tomorrow. But I got it all done!  I should probably go over it again tomorrow just to make sure all the dirt of off.

Because of doing this I know don’t want to do the dishes! (We don’t have a dish washer so hand wash is the only option) I’ve been procrastinating that for a while now. I’m good at procrastinating. Maybe its part of my Irish heritage. *Shakes fist* Dirty dishes you will see your doom soon!

So my first day off from work and school in a really long time ended up being quite a productive one. I was going to sleep all day and watch movies, but all well. Since I have been so busy with school and finals, I kinda neglected our studio. Shame on me I know!

Well I did sleep in a little, but not as much as i thought I would, but I couldn’t go back to sleep. As soon as Tim had left for work, I had set my self to work as well around the house, first things first the dishes! They were piling up on over load, we don’t have a dishwasher or much counter space everything gets to go in the sink, and once the sink is filled with dishes it is no longer usable. We should do them everyday, but we don’t always have time to do so. Next item on list: kitty litter box, always a grewsome job to, but now we have scoopable litter. What a difference that has made! Just a little more for good smelling and wonderful scooping litter.  Then vacuuming, witch doesn’t take long because of out itsy bitsy  studio, so not much ground to cover. Plus we did laundry tonight!

So after all this rambling about chores around the house, have come to a conclusion while I was at the laundry mat: this summer I will come up with a logo or some sort of branding for myself. I always get so jealous when I see other people with insignia and it fits them so well, I want the same. I was thinking of playing around the M and C from Meg’s Charm, but together MC reminds me too much of MC Hammer, maybe that’s just me. Then I was thinking about MCh, but that looks kinda weird too. I think I just need to sketch things out and brainstorm. Maybe I don’t really know the essence of my identity yet. If anybody has some good ideas let me know.
