This is the movie for Fall that I want to see. I love the idea of a coming to age British girl in the 1960′s with one of my favorite actors,Peter Saggard comes to sweep her off her feet. The 16 year old girl develop a dilemma of whether or not to go to Oxford or going to Pairs to have fun. This movie looks like it will question what an education is,book smart versus street smart,especially for a girl trying to go to college in the 1960′s. She asks, What is out there for me after school? I am highly anticipating this movie. I will do a full review of the film after I have watched it. Who knows I might change my mind and hate it after I see it,I hope not.
Tim and Meg in Photobooth So I was getting tired of going back and forth from my old acer pc laptop and my newish imac. It was too much of a pain and my pc couldn’t keep up with the programs I needed (adobe). *POOF* 13inch mac book pro appears! Now I can go seamlessly between lappy and desktop! I am happy and in love with macbook. <3 Once you go mac you never go back. A little treat for the Monday blues Recently Tim and I have been leaning in to teas. . . more Tim than I. He has always had an interested in them due to Kevin Rose on Digg. For our 5 year anniversary I went to Teavana in the mall and got him the perfect tea maker along with some flavored tea. A mix of Hazelnut Dolce rooibos tea and MartVana herbal tea,its a good mix but I recommend it on a cold rainy day. We got burned out the tea fast in the middle of summer. We liked the “perfect tea maker”even though the easy cleaning is not so easy. We got up the courage to buy something at Lupica,also a lose tea store in the mall . We had been in many times but never got anything,we would just stand in aww at it all,with the occasional droll showing. To say the least we can’t seem to stop drink tea. There is no such thing as coffee anymore. We even picked up an electrical water kettle and we go through 5 gallons of water so fast! Our first purchases from Lupicia were:
I’ve been working on the first project of the semester for my graphic design class. There are 3 parts to it 1 a) hand sketching of the object,b) rendering of the same object c) taking the object a step farther exploring the possibilities with the object. This couldn’t just any ol’object we could choose from a tomatillo,yo-yo,clothes pin (wooden) or an adjustable wrench. I did the tomatillo- upside down. I’m not going to show my drawing because it looks like crap next to the vectorized images,even though the teacher likes it. First image is part of b (actually made this morning!) and the other 2 are for part b,I need to decide which one I want to develop a little more. Which one do you like better?

Flower feels better after the horrible horrible fleas are are gone. This is her playing last night with her mouse. Yes,she’s fat,but I love her all the more. Those aren’t dirty dishes you see. With Fall comes school and with our current economic state college seems to be going down the toilet. I am fortunate that I got all the classes I needed,but I can not say the same for the rest. This whole ordeal make me angry and not a lot of things do that. First they cut classes,I’m ok with that as long as they leave enough sections of the class for the students who need it. They raise the tuition during summer after everyone has registered for the classes and as paid for at least part of their classes. That’s messed up,if you are going to raise the tuition the students should at least be notified the semester before hand,so at least they know what they will be getting themselves into. Plus the students who are already able to pay for their classes are now completely able to do so. On top of it all the faculty is doing mandatory furlough days,where the teachers have to take 9 mandatory days off! The faculty is unable to teach,check emails,grade or do anything having to do with school or students on those days,plus a 10% pay cut. I’m angry about some big wigs up there somewhere in their tall building cutting the days we have classes in third and then raising the tuition! This is completely unfair to the students who are there to learn. Now instead of the 4-5 years it would take to graduate it might take them 7-8 years. Its sad that I’m thinking that I’m glade that I’m in school now because who knows whats going to happen in the years to come. Will the California State school system collapse? Looking up furlough you get: a. A leave of absence or vacation,especially one granted to a member of the armed forces. b. A usually temporary layoff from work. (worrisome) c. To catch up on Meg’s life: My sister had baby number 2,a girl on August 28th 8:50 am. Unfortunately I was unable to make it see my new niece but I hear that she looks like my dad and that my sister had an easy birth and short labor. I can’t wait to go back to Visalia to see her.
School started a couple of weeks ago. I hope to graduate in the spring,if everything goes right *crosses fingers* Who knows what will happen? (a rant about school comming soon) Before school started work was scheduling me a ton of hours,not that I minded or anything I just wasn’t use to it. It seemed like things were slow for a while there and then all of a sudden we picked up! I think they would promote me there if I hadn’t have school. Damn school! Always in they way! (Just kidding) A part of me wants to get promoted so I can do better,but I know that wont spend the rest of my career there. I’m grateful and humble to have a job because I know that a lot of people out there don’t and are having troubles. | ||

Matcha Kirara Rice Tea –perfect breakfast tea,matcha give an extra boost,the rice give it nice favor,good hot or cold. A fav! We are already on our 3rd bag.
Strawberry –made with black tea,just recently found out it is much better cold than hot,not a favorite,but we’ll drink it
Golden Honey Dew- with rooibos (red tea),sweet ,decaffeinated (evening tea). My personal favorite so far. Smells oh so good.
