I am a college student, currently a Senior (hopefully graduating), aspiring to be graphic designer. Ultimate goal: own a firm.
I live in a small (and I mean small) studio just 2 blocks away from school and just a bus ride over to work. I live with my boyfriend (of almost 6 years) and my cat Flower, she’s the crazy one!
I have moved back to my home town and live in a much bigger apartment, cost of living is much lower in central California than in the bay area. I do miss San Jose and all it had to offer. I miss the frozen yogurt shops and the milk tea and bento box restaurant. But since I graduated for SJSU it was time to move back home so Tim can back to school for cheap.
So as of now I’m working in retail to pay the bills while looking for any kind of creative job, while thinking about going back to school for a couple of classes. If you have heard of any graphic design job and central Cali, let me know!
I love the Art Nouveau style with the whiplashes swirls and organic shapes. As for the present I love to see art that I’ve never seen anything like before, especially underground and independent artists. I also love little gadgets and nerdy things so if you might see some of that pop up as well.
