Renewable Energy ver 3

Renewable energy poster version 3, at the rough critique last time the teacher wanted vertical instead horizontal. This causes a problem because that means the rings need to be larger and for it to remain the same font size I need a lot more copy, good news there is a ton of info on the wind energy. I have the font size going from 7pt to 12pt I don’t want go any smaller or larger than that; the teacher describes it as a poster for the monster truck rally, aka heavy handed.

This project is due next Tuesday, been pushed back (yay!) I need to, get copy for the poster, clean up the lines, make sure it’s all lined up the way I want it, and work on the content map ( little unsure of how I want to fix the graphics, because I like the way it is now.

Again you will have to look at the poster at full size to get all of the detail in the text.

p.s. Which colors do you like better in the previous poster where it’s darker or this one where is a bit lighter?

That’s a pretty sweet poster. The windmill is really simple, but interesting with those brown stripes. I like this gray rather than the black. Is there a reason for the rings being uneven in terms of its distance to their neighbors? Also, the uneven gaps at the bottom of the rings are really distracting. Maybe add a couple words to the shorter ones so that they are a little more even? And I was reading the text and although you’re probably gonna do this anyway, spell check would be good to do. Awesome progress though!

@Momo Thanks for the advice! As for the rings at the bottom when I asked Byrne (teacher) for some help, that is what he did is change the bottom of the rings. At first it was quite weird, but if you saw it the other way you would think it looked like the doppler effect. They are not evenly spaced because I wanted it to look like the blades were moving by making the ring space larger as they go out. Yeah I know about the spelling, I had to change it around so that the text would make more since, and now the copy has changed completely. I know spelling is not my forte and I’m not afraid to admit it lol
    Thanks again!
