I love Gustav Klimt’s works and see it be other artist’s inspiration is amazing. That how you know you are a great artist, if people start to copy your work. This photomilipuation is quite amazing and pulls emotion out of you.

I think we might have a ghost in our studio. . . someone or something keeps turning the kitchen light on. I turn it off when I leave the kitchen out of habit. At first I thought it was Tim but he says he does the same thing- turn the light off. So if its neither of us it either has to be our cat or a ghost. I’m going to go with ghost. I don’t know why it would even want to be in our little, stuffy, hot studio. Anyways, welcome little ghost.

For those who know me, know that I’m quite taken to owls and their mysteriousness. I dedicate this mecrdi etsy to the owls.

I just watched Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus the lady we know her photos but not her story. I enjoyed this film because it is was not an exact biography about the woman but an imaginary recreation of what she might have felt during her life.  I highly recommend this film, its very much an artistic film like The Fall (also very good).  I applaude Nicole Kidman and Robert Downey Jr for their wonderful performance in this film.

In a printmaking mood today, this is a dry etching by Kaelycea called Wild Woman

This cute shirt was made from a men’s dress shirt, idea by My Momma Made It.  I really like this idea because sometimes (most of the time) men’s shirts are cheaper than female shirts,Which really sucks. This a really cute and economical way to make a shirt. A really cheap way to get a men’s shirt would be to go to the Salvation Army (I know that they have a ton of dress shirts) or a handme down from a brother or dad.
